Summary: On January 24, 2025, the Ministry of Justice declared political scientist and journalist Anton Barbashin a “foreign agent.” Anton Barbashin is accused of participating in the dissemination of foreign agent content and dissemination of fakes about the decisions and policies of the Russian government. “Barbashin, in addition, spoke out against the SVO, called for the introduction of sanctions against Russia and interacts with organizations recognized as undesirable in Russia,” reports Interfax.

In 2022, Riddle Russia was recognized as an “undesirable organization” by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
